Our Methodology
We don't guess. Our reading is built on classical Chinese metaphysical systems that have studied human temperament for centuries. Here is exactly how the process works.
The sources we build on
- The I Ching (易经) — the foundational text of Chinese cosmology and the study of change.
- Yuan Hai Zi Ping (渊海子平) — the classical treatise that formalized the Bazi (Four Pillars) method.
- The Bazi system (八字命理) — the framework of the Four Pillars of destiny derived from your birth data.
We treat these as a coherent descriptive system, not mysticism. The goal is self-understanding, not fate.
The process, step by step
- Your birth data. You provide your birth year, month, day, and time, plus your birth location.
- Your chart (命盘). From that data we construct your Four Pillars (八字), the Ten Gods (十神), and your major luck periods (大运) — the elemental profile that describes your natural temperament and baseline.
- Your traits and strengths (Module 1 — Know Yourself). We read your dominant elements to describe your personality, natural gifts, inner drives, and the friction points that hold you back. This layer is free to explore.
- Your environment (Module 2 — Know Your Environment). Beyond the self, we map the environment you operate in — its favorable and risky points — using lenses such as energy replenishment (能量回补), blind-spot testing (盲区测试), and baseline compensation (元气代偿). This is a deeper, one-time unlock.
- Action and shaping (Module 3 — Act and Shape). We translate insight into movement: storing energy through Yin-Bi (印比蓄能), breaking deadlocks through Shi-Shang (食伤破局), and reconciling conflict (通关和解).
- Ongoing navigation. Because your context changes year to year and month to month (流年 / 流月), we offer an optional subscription for cyclical guidance — so the reading keeps pace with the life you are actually living.
The flywheel
Understanding is not a one-time event. It compounds:
Understand yourself → Read your environment → Adjust your action → Get ongoing feedback → Deepen the practice → Understand yourself.
The more you use the lens, the more accurate and useful it becomes — which is exactly why the practice is built to stay with you over time.
What this is — and isn't
This is a tool for self-reflection and personal growth. It is educational and provided for entertainment purposes; it is not a substitute for professional, medical, financial, or life decisions. You remain the authority on your own life.
